This morning, I had a nice breakfast with my soon to be father-in-law. We had a good time just talking and enjoying some good food. It means a lot that we can sit down and just enjoy each other’s company.

I always envisioned getting along with my in-laws. And so I was happy to build a good relationship with Tanya’s family while we were dating. But it was very special that her dad embraced me. Fathers and daughters usually share a close relationship. That is definitely the case with Tanya and her dad. Having his blessing on our union has made this experience even more enjoyable. I’m excited to continue building a relationship with him.
