Tanya and Eddie

My wife think she wants a dog. But she doesn’t. She wants to look at cute dogs, but she doesn’t want to walk it when it’s 30 degrees and raining. That would be me. So we don’t have a dog.

But a friend of mine was able to convince her husband to get a dog. And we were IM-ing each other about it when she said that her dog was a Cavalier King Charles. And thus, my quote of the week was formed:

“Cavalier King Charles? You mean a Cavalier King James???”

I had never heard of a Cavalier King Charles, but I know LeBron James plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers. I thought maybe the husband named the dog after the great LeBron (whose nickname happens to be King James!). Or maybe they named a whole dog breed after the new number 23? We both got a good laugh out of that one.

So in summation, I advise you to not get a dog if your wife wants one and you don’t. But if you do, name it after your favorite basketball player.
