So Blessed
This morning I woke up to the sound of things going off. A power outage. I was frustrated and annoyed. How was I going to get ready for work? Ugh, I was going to have to shower in the dark. And OH NO the food in the fridge is going to spoil. This was my initial reaction.
Then I started thinking about the millions of people who have lost their homes in Haiti. People who are sleeping on the street wishing they had running water and food to eat. Suddenly things were put into perspective for me. I had a tiny glimpse of being “put out” and that made me realize just how blessed I am. The people of Haiti need our help. Please remember how blessed we are. Remember the little things we take for granted on a daily basis. Dig down deep and help those in need.
